Work Experience

PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation)

Cloud Engineer • October 2020 - Present

  • Worked in an FA&D (Federal, Aerospace, and Defense) specialized cloud apps team that communicated with several other departments to quickly handle customer and internal-employee submitted tickets. Responsibilities included: deploying custom builds for our customers, running security patches when advised, pushing mandated software upgrades, and generic VM (Virtual Machine) maintenance. This required secret level security clearance as we delt with customer-sensitive classified information.
  • Helped manage a year-long internal project for our supported version upgrade of our cloud hosted software. This involved running automated orchestrations through Salt and debugging numerous issues as I stepped through customer DEV, QA, and PROD systems.
  • Helped run commercial-side (non-FA&D) testing for new releases of our cloud hosted software. Commercial cloud is hosted through Microsoft Azure, and testing was handled via automations with the frontend in ServiceNow and the backend in Salt.
  • Promenent customers: Army, Navy, Aerojet Rocketdyne, Austal, and NASA.

    • Bossa Nova Robotics

    Remote Robot Technician • March 2020 - June 2020

  • Helped remotely troubleshoot and fix errors thrown by Bossa Nova’s autonomous robots deployed in Walmart stores. This involved using a cloud robot management platform called InOrbit to track different fleets of robots across the U.S. Tickets were handled via Salesforce.

    • PITT OHIO

    Program Developer Intern • May 2018 - August 2018 | May 2019 - August 2019

  • Worked with an Intern team to develope a customer data driven, comapny-wide project. We tracked customer data like invoices, bills of lading, and customer contact information and traced the workflows and lifecycles to get a better understanding of how the company uses and stores its data.

    • Android & IOS Devloper App

    Senior Project

  • This app used Google Cloud Vision to take a picture of hand written code, and use AI to recognize the hand written code and move it to a Json file. The file was sent to a backend server that would use a simple script automation to compile the code and send the result back to the user in a command line.
  • Unfortunately due to Apple App Store policy the app had to be taken down and no longer functions. :(
